Table lamp by Gubi
We only offer this piece upon request or in our store in Hamburg .
A masterpiece of Scandinavian mid-century design: The table lamp , designed in 1941 by Finnish designer Paavo Tynell , combines poetry, functionality and craftsmanship in an iconic form.
The characteristic, shell-shaped brass cap lends the lamp a natural elegance—as if the light source were gently concealed beneath it, like a pearl. This playful detail is typical of Tynell, who, like few others, understood how to translate romance and nature into the clear formal language of modernity.
The lamp is more than just a lighting object: It's a sculptural highlight that adds character to any room—whether on a desk, sideboard, or bedside table. Its harmonious balance between decorative expression and understated elegance makes it a timeless companion in any interior.
